I am always happy when Spring comes as it means I can at last begin gardening. Its always such fun to see which plants have wintered over and make plans for new ones to add. This design is stitched as a basket band. It uses a wide range of threads from silks to linen. Threads stitch differently and its fun to ‘feel' the difference as you stitch. There are little beds of flowers, an arbor, and a bird bath too. The charm is a wonderful, dimensional sun dial. Its one I've had for some time, just waiting for the right design to put it on.
