Sampling of Christmas Fabric: 28ct Cashel Dirty Linen Threads:
DMC floss and Perle 8, Caron Collection Wildflowers Emerald, Needle
Necessities Razzle Dazzle Red, Tropical Rainforest, and Kris Kringle. Stitches: Circular Eyelet, Smyrna, Cross and Backstitch. Charm: Sterling Silver Star/Strings Along the same format as the Bird House Sampler, this design has blocks of alphabet and blocks of motifs. The alphabet is not a true ABC as words are interspersed within each of the blocks (deer, holly, noel and Xmas). The colors are good solid Christmas colors - lovely reds and greens, brightened with Perle 8 #712. The design uses the new Star charm but there's plenty of room to add other charms: reindeer, any of the hollies, angel, present. For fun, you could put a charm in each of the motif blocks. Its fast to stitch!
