This design was a coming together of the verse and the charm. My sister (the sculptress Barbara Greenberg, who designs some of my charms) had suggested the verse (which I really like). It's from Shakespeare's Henry IV. Stars and moons, scattered through the design and scroll work in Perle 8, add dimension to the stitching. It may be easily adapted to a birth sampler by adding rows for the name and date!
