We have two grandbabies arriving this year, and I wanted to do a small design for each which commemorated both their births and their first Christmas.So here is a quick-to-stitch small stocking celebrating a child's first Christmas, embellished with our Sterling silver 2000 charm.

This design could also be stitched for a couple's first Christmas. An alphabet is enclosed in order to allow the personalization of the blocks near the toe. A stocking shape and finishing directions are included.

We finished the design by cutting slits top and bottom on a mat, pulling the banding through, and lacing the ends on the back (in order to get the correct tension).
