This piece was originally developed for a workshop in York, England. The top motif is from an old pattern book, and I was intrigued with the interlocking aspect of the design.

The large ABC in the center may be changed to your own initials, as a complete alphabet is enclosed with the pattern. Stitching with the Raspberry Sherbet was great fun! It's a wonderful color.

You may choose to stitch the sampler using Au Ver A Soie or floss, although I must admit that I love the 'feel' of silk.
